Cardinal Rules 1-5 Breaking these rules jeopardizes the safety and sobriety of others and will result in immediate dismissal from Home Of Hope property. 1. No consumption, possession, or selling of alcohol or other illicit drugs on or off any Home Of Hope properties. No accepting visitors who are under the influence of alcohol/illicit drugs. 2.Refusal to submit to random alcohol and drug testing. Refusal to testing will be considered a positive test. No medications are to be exchanged between residents for any reason. 3.No threats of violence or physical violence will be tolerated on or off any Home Of Hope properties. Possession of weapons is not allowed. 4.No theft or any other criminal act. Taking anything that does not belong to you, including food will be considered theft. 5.Agreed upon rents are to be paid in full by the 4th of every month. A $25.00 late fee will be charged on the 5th of the month if all fees have not been paid by the 4th of the month. House rules to best assure a safe, healthy, clean, quiet environment. Failure to adhere to rules 6-22 will result in a documented warning system. 3 warnings equal a red dot, two red dots equals dismissal from Home Of Hope property. We ask for progress, not perfection 6. We as guests do not wish to have anger or violence in our home. Acts of aggression/posturing/slander/are grounds for a warning. 7.We as guests have agreed there will be no lending of money or personal possessions. 8. We as guests have agreed to one community house meeting a week that should be attended unless you are excused or working. This is when you bring up questions or concerns of the house and get from the problem and into the solution. All will be heard, we are a democratic home. 9. We as guests have agreed to be productive in our recovery and will be working, going to school, attending an out-patient program, or volunteering our time. 10. We will remain active in a program of recovery and it is suggested 4 to 6 AA/NA, or spiritually based meetings per week will help in the recovery process and a new way of life. 11. Curfew will be 11:00 P.M. Sunday thru Thursday and 12:00 A.M. Friday and Saturday. 12. Two overnights per week are allowed if you are in good standing. A 24 hour notification and phone number where you can be reached should be submitted to house manager prior to overnight. 13. Residents/Guests are not allowed in each others’ rooms. Respect each others’ privacy. 14.Guests are subject to all Home Of Hope house rules. No overnight visitors – guests arerestricted to the common areas only. No sexual activity or pornography is permitted. 15.We do not have visitors for more than two hours unless approved on a household basis by residents and house manager. Guests should visit between 4:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M. 16.We as guests will sleep only in our designated bedrooms. There will be no feet on or lying around on furniture in communal areas. 17. We as guests have agreed to smoking in designated areas only. Not inside the home. 18. We do not burn candles, no open flames or incense. 19.We have agreed to eat and drink only in the kitchen and dining areas, not in living or bedrooms. 20. We as guests share in cleaning and upkeep tasks of the home. (weekly schedules will be posted). 21. We as guests do not accept or make phone calls before 6:oo A.M. or after 10:00 P.M. We will be respectful of noise levels during this time as well so as to get along with others. 22. We will make our beds and have our chores done by 10:00 A.M. A double scrub will be done on Saturday morning by 12: P.M. We will keep our room neat and not leave boxes, paper clutter or clothing on floors.
